The Japan-America Society of Wisconsin (JASW) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to promote mutual understanding between the people of Japan and the State of Wisconsin through establishing and promoting ties and programs in the areas of culture, customs, education, commerce and politics.

The Japan-America Society of Wisconsin was founded in 1990 promote a better understanding between the people of Wisconsin and the people of Japan. We strive to encourage friendly personal relations between Japanese and Americans as they may meet, either as members of the society, or in residing or traveling in either country and to promote mutually beneficial commerce and trade. We hope you will join us in this effort.
The Japan-America Society of Wisconsin is a member of the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS), headquartered in Washington D.C., which includes 37 societies nationwide.
